1. General betting conditions
By opening an account, accessing a betting service or submitting a wager, you agree to follow these Betting Rules and the other terms that apply to your use of Sky Crown Casino. If a rule for a specific game, event, market or promotion differs from these general rules, the specific rule will normally apply to that activity. If there is any uncertainty, check the applicable terms before submitting a bet.
You must be legally entitled to gamble in Australia and meet the applicable minimum age requirement. Gambling by people under 18 is not permitted. You are responsible for ensuring that gambling is lawful where you are located and for complying with any restrictions that apply to you. Access may be unavailable in some places or circumstances, and we may restrict or refuse access where required by law, regulation, risk controls or our internal procedures.
Only one personal account should be used unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. Account information must be accurate, current and complete. You must not open an account using another person's identity, allow another person to use your account or provide access to your account credentials. You are responsible for keeping your username, password and other security information confidential. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Account checks and fair use
We may carry out identity, age, location, payment, source-of-funds or other verification checks. A bet, withdrawal or account function may remain pending while a check is completed. You may be asked to provide information or documents that are reasonably required for these checks. Failure to provide suitable information, or providing information that is false or misleading, may result in an account restriction, suspension, closure or other action permitted under the applicable terms.
Betting services must be used for personal and lawful purposes. Attempts to manipulate a game or market, interfere with technical systems, use automated tools without permission, exploit an obvious error or engage in fraudulent or collusive behaviour are not allowed. Where permitted by applicable law, we may cancel affected bets, withhold a transaction, suspend an account or take other reasonable steps if we identify suspicious, unlawful or unfair activity.
You should read the rules for a particular game, market or bet type before playing. Those rules may explain eligible selections, available options, settlement conditions, event timings and how unusual circumstances are handled. By placing a bet, you confirm that you have had a reasonable opportunity to review the information displayed before submission.
2. Placing and accepting bets
Before submitting a bet, review the selection, stake, odds or payout information, market, game and any other details displayed on the betting interface. You are responsible for checking that the information is correct. A bet is generally treated as submitted when you select the relevant confirmation control and the system records the wager. A bet is accepted only when the system confirms acceptance. A bet shown as pending has not necessarily been accepted or settled.
The information displayed on the website or app may change before a bet is accepted. This can occur because of market updates, game events, pricing changes, technical delays or other operational reasons. If a price, result, game setting or other detail changes before acceptance, the revised information may be shown for your approval or the bet may be rejected. Always check the final confirmation before continuing.
Stake and bet limits
Minimum and maximum stakes, maximum returns and other transaction limits may apply. Limits can vary by game, market, account, payment method, promotion, jurisdiction or other relevant factor. Any applicable limit should be displayed during the betting process or set out in the relevant terms. We may refuse, reduce or restrict a bet where a limit applies, where the bet cannot be processed or where this is necessary for legal, operational or risk-management reasons.
A wager should not be placed on behalf of another person, through an account that you do not control or using a payment method that does not belong to you. We may ask you to confirm ownership or authority in relation to an account or payment method. Bets made in breach of these requirements may be cancelled or treated in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
Errors, interruptions and technical issues
We aim to keep betting information accurate and services available, but online services can be affected by interruptions, communication failures, software faults, display errors, delayed data or other technical problems. If an obvious error affects a price, result, game, bet type or other material detail, we may correct the error and settle the affected bet using the correct information, or cancel the affected bet where appropriate and permitted.
Do not assume that a displayed balance, result or bet status is final until it has been confirmed in your account history or by the relevant service. You should not attempt to place repeated bets during an interruption or use a technical issue to obtain an unfair advantage. If a wager appears to have been duplicated or recorded incorrectly, retain the relevant details and raise the issue through the available support process.
- Check the selection, stake, odds and market before confirming a bet.
- Wait for the acceptance message or account record before treating a bet as final.
- Do not refresh repeatedly or submit duplicate bets during a service interruption.
- Keep records of any unusual message, error or transaction reference.
- Contact support if the bet status or account balance does not appear correct.
3. Settlement, results and cancellations
Bets are settled using the official result or settlement information relevant to the particular game, event or market. The applicable game rules or market information may explain which result is used, when a market is considered finished and how unusual circumstances are handled. Results are not necessarily settled according to commentary, informal reports, social media posts or an unofficial source.
Different bet types can have different settlement conditions. For example, a market may depend on the final result, a specified period of play, a particular score, a qualifying outcome or another stated condition. Read the market description before placing the bet. If the description contains a special condition, that condition may affect whether the bet wins, loses, is cancelled or remains unsettled.
Abandoned, postponed or changed events
If an event is abandoned, postponed, rescheduled, shortened, interrupted or materially changed, the relevant market rules will determine what happens to affected bets. Some bets may remain valid if the stated conditions are met, while others may be cancelled or settled in another permitted way. A change to a participant, venue, format, starting time or event conditions may also affect settlement.
Where a game or event cannot be completed or a reliable result cannot be established, affected bets may be cancelled in accordance with the applicable rules. Bets that have already been unconditionally determined may be settled even if another part of a combined bet is later cancelled. The treatment of combined, multi-part or related bets depends on the rules for that bet type.
Void bets and account corrections
A bet may be voided or corrected where it was accepted because of an obvious error, duplicated in error, placed after a relevant closing time, affected by a technical fault or otherwise accepted contrary to the applicable rules. If a bet is voided, the stake will generally be returned unless a different outcome is required by the specific rules or applicable law. Any correction will be recorded in the account history where practicable.
Settlement information may be reviewed after an initial result is shown. If an official result is corrected or a material error is identified, the account may be adjusted to reflect the proper settlement. We will not knowingly keep an incorrect settlement where the applicable rules require a correction. Players should check their account history and report suspected errors promptly.
Combined and related bets
A combined bet may contain several selections or conditions. If one selection is cancelled, voided or otherwise unable to be settled, the remaining selections may be treated according to the relevant rules for that combined bet. The outcome may differ from the treatment of a single bet. Review the displayed terms for the specific bet before confirming it, particularly where selections relate to the same event or outcome.
If a bet has been settled incorrectly, we may make a reasonable account adjustment after reviewing the available information. This can include correcting a return, restoring a stake or reversing an amount that was credited or debited in error. We aim to handle corrections consistently and in accordance with the applicable rules and legal requirements.
4. Payments, disputes and responsible play
Balances and transactions
Your account balance may include funds that are available for betting, funds subject to a pending transaction and amounts that are not currently available. A displayed balance may be adjusted for accepted stakes, settled returns, cancelled bets, fees where clearly applicable, payment reversals, verification outcomes or other corrections allowed under the relevant terms. Payment methods may have their own conditions, processing requirements and restrictions.
You must use an approved payment method in your own name and provide information that is accurate. We may delay or decline a transaction while completing verification, checking payment ownership or addressing a suspected irregularity. Withdrawals and other account transactions are handled in accordance with the available payment options and the applicable Terms and Conditions. We do not guarantee that every payment method will always be available.
Questions and complaints
If you believe a bet has been accepted, settled or recorded incorrectly, review the relevant market rules and your account history first. You should then raise the matter through the support channel made available on the website. Include enough information for the transaction or wager to be identified, such as the date, game or market, stake, displayed outcome and any reference shown in your account.
We will review betting queries using account records, transaction information, system logs and the applicable rules. A review may take longer where verification, a third-party result or a technical investigation is required. If you remain dissatisfied, any further review or complaint pathway will be handled in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions and Australian requirements.
Responsible gambling
Gambling should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover losses. Only bet with money you can afford to lose and set a budget before you play. Avoid gambling when you are upset, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or trying to solve financial problems. Never chase losses by increasing stakes or continuing to play for longer than planned.
- Set personal spending and time limits before you start.
- Take regular breaks and keep gambling separate from essential household expenses.
- Do not borrow money, sell possessions or use credit to continue gambling.
- Keep your account details private and do not let another person gamble through your account.
- Use available account restrictions, cooling-off options or self-exclusion tools if gambling is becoming difficult to control.
- Seek independent support if gambling is affecting your finances, relationships, work, health or wellbeing.
Sky Crown Casino may apply responsible gambling checks, account restrictions or other protective measures where appropriate. These measures can include refusing a request, limiting access or referring you to support information. If you choose to self-exclude or request a restriction, do not create another account or try to bypass the restriction. Gambling support is available through Australian services and state or territory resources, and seeking help early can make a significant difference.
Changes to these rules
These Betting Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the betting services, applicable law, operational practices or risk controls. The current version will be made available on the website. You should review the rules periodically and before using a new betting product or feature. Where a change is important, additional notice may be provided through the account or service interface.
If any part of these Betting Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted. These rules do not limit any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law. The Terms and Conditions contain further information about account use, legal obligations, disputes and the relationship between these documents.
